Overview

P&S Compensation Review Worksheets are used to apply annual salary increases and populate the budget for the next fiscal year.

Planners: Receive the salary increase worksheets to review and edit.

Approvers: May edit and approve the salary increases.

Planners

Step 1: Planners and Approvers will receive a task in their UNI Works inbox like the following:


Once the task is open, there will be two pools of funds:


The "Increase" pool is the pool of funds to be allocated, and the "Additional Adjustment" is the across-the-board percentage (ATB%).

Step 2: Click on "View Full Screen" 

We will add the ATB % and this % must equal the target. Decimal places on the percentages are due to rounding.

Step 3: The performance increase % or $ is the pool of funds to be allocated. Update the % or dollar amount as needed.

Step 4: Verify the "Increase" pool is as expected.

If the employee's performance rating is "Needs Improvement" or "Unsatisfactory", the performance increase and ATB% is zero and the column Zero Performance Increase must be changed to "Yes"




If warnings exist, click on the number next to the warning. A description of the error will display


Correct critical errors (red).

Step 5: Click "Submit"

Approvers

Step 1: Approvers will receive a task in their UNI Works inbox to monitor and approve the salary increases. Click on the task:

 

The dashboard displays the pools for all cost centers in your area of approval.


Step 2: Click on the blue View Sub Orgs

Step 3: A status for each cost center will be provided. To view or change employees' salary increases in each cost center, click on Actions and then Propose Awards.

 Step 4: After review and approval click Submit
