Overview

This job aid details how to refer candidates not currently employed by UNI to open jobs in the UNI Works Jobs Hub.

Refer a Candidate 

Step 1: From the UNI Works home page, click on the Menu.

Step 2: Click on the Jobs Hub application.

Note: If the application isn't visible, click Add Apps at the bottom of the Menu.

 

Step 3: Click Browse Jobs to browse the list of jobs that have been posted internally. You can use the filter options located on the left side of the screen to help narrow your search.

Step 4: Click View Job to review a particular job in more detail. This will open up in another browser tab.

Step 5: Click the Refer button.

Step 6: Enter the candidate's First Name and Last Name.

Step 7: Enter the candidate's Phone Number, if desired.

Step 8: Enter the candidate's Email.

Step 9: Enter your Relationship to the referral, if desired.

Step 10: If you have them, attach the candidate's Resume/Cover Letter in the “Drop Files Here” section in the upper right of the page.

Step 11: Click Submit.

What Happens Next

You will receive a notification confirming that you have submitted a referral. An email will be sent to the referral encouraging them to apply for the position. You can view your referrals any time on the My Referrals page of the Jobs Hub, or by searching for the "My Referrals" report using the search bar. If the referral uses your link to apply, you will be able to view the candidate's name, the specific position you referred them to, and whether the position is currently open or closed. Your name will also be listed as the source for the referral's application.
