Overview
This process allows an employee to endorse a candidate's job application. When a candidate identifies you as a referral source on a job application, you will receive an Endorse task in UNI Works. Alternatively, you can refer a candidate for a job which sends them a referral link via the email you provide. Please see the Refer Candidate job aid for more information.
Endorse Candidate
Step 1: From your My Tasks, locate and select the Endorse task.
Step 2: Review the Candidate Name and Job.
Step 3: Next to the Endorse? Prompt, select Yes or No based on if you recommend the candidate or not.
Note: If you select Yes, the candidate will be identified as a referral candidate, and your name will be associated with the candidate record which is visible to the search committee. If you select No, your name will be removed from their candidate record, and the candidate will not be notified of your decision.
Step 4: If you selected Yes above, the Relationship and Comment fields appear. Select a Relationship to the candidate (optional).
Step 5: Enter a Comment about the candidate. This will be visible to the primary recruiter.
Step 6: Click Submit.
What Happens Next
The endorsement details will display on the candidate's profile when reviewed by the recruiter. Your name will display as the person who referred them.
