Changes for Users in Service Hub After the Cloud Migration
In November of 2025 Information Technology at UNI will migrate its main service management platform, Service Hub, to Atlassian’s cloud product offering. See this page for more information on the migration process.
While the migration process itself should be largely transparent to you, a member of the UNI community who submits tickets for IT help via Service Hub; however, the cloud version of the application will have a few key differences that you should be aware of. This page walks you through those key differences.

Logging in
Signing into Service Hub will continue to use your CatID username and password; however, the sign-in process will now utilize our more modern authentication platform. This process will look similar to signing into Microsoft Office applications or office.com today.
Once you’ve navigated to servicehub.uni.edu and are redirected to the new sign-in page, it will look like this:
After typing in your UNI email and choosing Continue, you will be redirected to the CatID sign in page. Enter your CatID followed by @uni.edu.
Follow the authentication prompts and you will be directed to the main Service Hub portal page.
The New Portal
Once you’ve completed your sign in to Service Hub, you will land at the new portal which looks very similar to the previous version.
Choose the help portal, or start by searching for assistance. Searching will show help articles and requests related to that topic.
