ConnectUNI is the University of Northern Iowa’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform, built on Salesforce. It supports the university’s efforts to connect with prospective students, manage admissions-related interactions, coordinate events, and communicate with audiences throughout the recruitment and enrollment process.

ConnectUNI brings together information and processes from several integrated systems to help university staff coordinate outreach, manage applications, support events, and deliver a more connected experience for students.

Access ConnectUNI one of two ways:

• Go directly to connect.uni.edu

• Navigate to the Employee Resources tab in MyUNIverse and open ConnectUNI.

All user access for ConnectUNI (Salesforce CRM, Blackthorn Events, Marketing Cloud) is requested and approved through the Security Request System (SRS); see https://uniservicehub.atlassian.net/wiki/x/DgBrD for additional information.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud supports targeted communications and outreach campaigns. It helps the university deliver relevant information to prospective students and other audiences through coordinated email marketing and engagement efforts.

FormAssembly provides online forms that collect information from individuals interacting with the university. Form submissions can integrate with ConnectUNI to support data collection and reduce manual data entry.

Blackthorn Events supports event registration and management. Its integration with ConnectUNI helps coordinate event-related information and maintain connections between events and the individuals who register or participate.

The Graduate Application Review Portal (GARP) supports the graduate application review process. Authorized users can participate in reviewing graduate applications and related admissions information.
