Speechify is UNI's official text-to-speech application. UNI has a Speechify site wide license that allows any faculty, staff, or student to download and use the application as needed. All you need to do is sign in with your UNI credentials to get a Speechify Premium Account. Click on this link to get started. 

Speechify is a text-to-speech app that uses AI to convert text into audio. It's available on Chrome, iOS, Android, Mac, and Edge. 

Speechify's features include:

• Text-to-speech: Convert text from PDFs, docs, web pages, emails, textbooks, and more into audio 

• Optical character recognition: Turn printed text or physical books into audio by taking photos of the text

Speechify's speech voices are designed to help people with dyslexia, ADHD, or other disabilities. It can also help improve comprehension, retention, and focus.
