Clear Your Browser History or Cache
Web browsers store data, such as cookies, history, and cache on your device/computer. Sometimes clearing this data will resolve issues accessing web applications. Note: Clearing browsing data may also remove any saved login information or sessions for websites.
Important
Make sure to select a time range of All time or Everything to ensure old cookies and cache are deleted.
Chrome
Click on the ⋮ (three vertical dots) menu in the upper-right corner
Select Delete browsing data...
Change Time range to All time and verify all options are selected
Click the Clear data button
Safari
For macOS
Open the Safari menu
Select History > Clear History
Select All Time for the time range
Click Clear History
For iOS
Go to Settings > Safari
Tap Clear History and Website Data
Firefox
Click on the ☰ (three horizontal lines) menu in the upper-right corner
Select History > Clear Recent History
Clear the dataUnder Time range to clear select Everything
Verify all options under History are selected
Click OK
Edge
Click on the ••• (three horizontal dots) menu in the upper-right corner
Select Settings
On the left, select Privacy, search, and services
On the right, under the Clear browsing data heading, click the Choose what to clear button
Select the Time range to be All time
Verify the first four items are selected
Click the Clear now button
Tips
Closing all browser windows, waiting ten seconds, and re-opening the browser may be necessary if the changes don't take effect.
Keyboard shortcuts can provide quick access to clear the browser data:
For Windows
Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge, press CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE on the keyboard simultaneously
For MacOS
Safari, press COMMAND + Y on the keyboard simultaneously
Firefox and Chrome, press COMMAND + SHIFT + DELETE
