Service Desk
The IT Service Desk's mission is to help the University community navigate technology and IT services at UNI.
The IT Service Desk provides the following services:
A single point of contact for the campus and IT
Account access, including password resets and Duo
Google Workspace, such as email, productivity apps, departmental accounts, Groups, and UNI's Alumni domain
General phone/voicemail assistance
General personal device troubleshooting
Zoom, Citrix, and Mobile/Mobility Print troubleshooting
Consulting (technology advice and resources)
Network connectivity troubleshooting
Service Hub, UNI's IT service portal
Contacting the IT Service Desk
Assistance can be requested by using UNI's Service Hub or by calling (319) 273-5555.
Important
CatID access issues such as password resets can only be handled by phone.

*Reduced hours are used during winter break (after the fall semester and before the spring). Summer hours start after the end of the Spring semester and continue until the first day of the Fall semester.
Important
The IT Service Desk is closed during University Holidays. The IT Service Desk also has reduced operations during Winter Break following the University's operation schedule.
The IT Service Desk walk-in service is located in Room 36 of the ITTC (Innovative Teaching and Technology Center) just north of Rod Library. Walk-in service availability may vary from the hours listed but phone or Service Hub support is available based on the Operating Hours listed.
