Update, Hide, or Share Your Information at UNI

Students can control information shared with UNI and on the UNI Directory. If you have information that needs to be updated or changed, follow the instructions below.

Important

Employees can update their information through UNI Works. See the Edit Personal Data article for more information.

To update your student information:

  1. Log into MyUNIverse.

  2. Find the My Personal Information section and choose Update My Personal Information.

  3. Use the various tabs to update personal information.

Most changes made take a few business days for processing, as indicated on the form.

Add/Update Preferred Name, Gender, and Pronouns

You can update your preferred name and gender. Complete the changes in the Preferred Name, Gender, and Pronouns fields and click on Save Changes.

Address & Phone

If you have moved, you may need to update your home address by choosing the Address & Phone tab.

Note: changes to your legal name need to be processed through the Office of the Registrar.

Important

Only current or future students can update the Local Mailing Address. Former students need to contact the Office of the Registrar to make changes.

Privacy

Use the Privacy tab to restrict or allow access to your information. Choosing Yes will restrict access, making it hidden.

Important

Restricting access to some information like your UNI email address may result in losing access in some systems that rely on information shared.



When you are finished, choose the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
