Mobility Print: Troubleshooting

To fix common issues being able to print, try these steps:

  1. Make sure you're connected to the eduroam network, not UNI's guest network.

  2. If you changed your password, your old password will be remembered. See "Additional Troubleshooting Steps" below to remediate.

  3. Verify the document being printed complies with the Printing Policy. It will be rejected by the system if it doesn't.

  1. Please make sure that you are using your CatID: Username and Password for UNI user name and password when getting prompted to submit a print job, not your personal laptop login credentials.

  2. If you have changed your password recently and had your previous credentials saved, you'll need to remove them and try again.

  3. You may need to complete a CatID password synchronization

  4. Are you getting a "Hold for authentication" error when printing? See this page.

  5. Try removing the "printrelease-blackandwhite" and "printrelease-color" queues and then try re-adding them again

  6. Submit an incident to ServiceHub.
