Projector displays mixed up output

Important troubleshooting note for some projector models:

The auto-adjustment routine on some projector models does not always work properly.  If the output on the projection screen looks mixed up in some way, try pressing the AUTO ADJUST button on either the touch panel or on the projector's physical remote control (this button is also sometimes labeled as AUTO SETUP).  It might require pressing this button two or three times, before the output looks normal again.

More details:

The auto-adjustment routine runs when the projector is powered on and also when switching inputs (say from/to the computer or from/to DVD-VCR).

Sometimes, this routine fails such that the output looks mixed up in some way, usually where the bottom part of the screen ends up on the top and vice versa.

Since this auto-adjustment routine runs each time the projector powers on, or inputs are changed, this is not something that can be proactively fixed or prevented.

Summary:

Each person using the classroom will have to know to use the AUTO ADJUST (AUTO SETUP) button, to resolve this particular issue.
