Weblab - Web Development Lab

Weblab is a service created by IT Network and Infrastructure Services to manage student access to a development environment. It's most popular use cases are for:

  • Web blog hosting, primarily Wordpress. This is a popular way to teach SEO marketing, web engagement techniques, and the basics or managing web content.

  • Database management. Students and instructors can access a MySQL environment to learn the basics of databases. phpMyAdmin GUI is also available to assist in the learning.

  • Static site building and hosting. Simple HTML/CSS/JS tools can be utilized to build sites from scratch or launch sites from a files based template.
