How Long Do Courses Stay on UNI's Blackboard System?
Per the University's 1.07 Records Retention Policy, Blackboard academic courses created from the Student Information System (SIS) will remain on UNI’s Blackboard System for 5 years after the semester has concluded. At that point, the course will be deleted from UNI’s Blackboard System.
NOTE: In February 2024, the change was made from "removing courses at 3 years with an archive stored for 2 years" to the "5 years on the system". Course archives (backups) are no longer created or stored following course deletion.
