Log into your UNI Microsoft Account

Current UNI students, faculty, staff, and emeritus can log into their Microsoft account.

Logging in

To log in:

  1. If not sent to a service login visit a Microsoft service, such as office.com and click Sign in, normally located in the top right corner - image-20260520-151302.png

  2. Sign in using your CatID@uni.edu ( username@uni.edu )
    Note: If you have a different email address make sure you are using your CatID Username, not the Email Address.

    Note: If you signed up for a personal Microsoft account using your UNI email address, there is a chance you will have two Microsoft Accounts. If you are trying to log into your Microsoft Education account tied to UNI, make sure to select "Work or school account". image-20260520-144919.png If you have your UNI email address linked to a personal Microsoft account, consider linking it to a new email address following the instructions lined on Rename your personal Microsoft account. 

     

     

  3. Provide your CatID password.
    Note: Only current UNI students, faculty, staff, and emeritus are able to sign in with their UNI Microsoft account.

  4. All users will be required to use Duo - Click “Continue” when prompted

  5. Based on your Duo configuration you will be prompted to continue.
    Most users will be pushed a verification code - use the Duo Mobile App tor respond to this.

  6. You will be prompted if you would like to remember your Duo login.

  7. You will be prompted if you would like your Microsoft Account to stay signed in.
