Service Hub cloud migration
UNI's Service Hub apps will begin migrating to Atlassian's cloud platform. Below is the project timeline.

On Service Hub was upgraded. To see a list of changes, visit Changes for Users in Service Hub After the Cloud Migration. Instructions on using Service Hub can be found in the https://uniservicehub.atlassian.net/wiki/x/H6BgD article.
Service Hub is upgrading to the cloud platform! Beginning Friday, at 5:00 pm, Service Hub will become view-only while the migration occurs. It will be available again before Monday, at 7:00 am. Requests for IT help during this time can be directed to the Service Desk by emailing servicedesk@uni.edu or calling 319-273-5555.
After the upgrade, the Service Hub portal will have all of the same functions as before, like searching for help or completing requests, but with an updated look while being more mobile-friendly. Next week on Monday, testing of the new Service Hub begins in preparation for the migration to begin on .

Service Hub is upgrading to the cloud platform! This will modernize the help portal, delivering continuous updates and feature enhancements. The new version will enhance the service experience while maintaining security and reliability.
Beginning Friday, at 5:00 pm, Service Hub will become read-only while the migration occurs. It will be available again before Monday, at 7:00 am.

Welcome to Confluence Cloud!
You should have received an email from Atlassian <noreply@id.atlassian.net> this morning inviting you to the new Confluence cloud instance.
Check out the /wiki/spaces/IA/pages/214302871 before submitting a service request and for helpful tips on using the new cloud version.
Some things you may need right away:

/wiki/spaces/IA/pages/214302881 - there are limitations to searching within Service Hub while we’re a hybrid between Service Hub (DC) and Confluence (Cloud); this will be resolved when both products are in the cloud
Confluence and Knowledge Management Support - please use this form to submit help requests
/wiki/spaces/IA/pages/219086849 (IT staff) - you will have to authorize Jira once if you link to Service Hub or Jira Software in Confluence
The Confluence cloud migration was completed successfully. Watch for an email from Atlassian inviting you to Confluence Cloud.
The DC Space will continue to be available in read-only mode through December.

Confluence Data Center will enter read-only mode at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 18th and should return to functional status by 9:00 am Saturday morning. This maintenance window is to conduct a full test migration from our live production site to the cloud.
Confluence Data Center will enter read-only mode at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 and should return to functional status by 8:00 am Thursday morning. This maintenance window is to conduct a full test migration from our live production site to the cloud.
Confluence Data Center will enter read-only mode at 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 31, 2025, as we begin migrating to the cloud. After migration, we will update Data Center space banners with cloud links starting Thursday evening into Friday morning. Owners of UNI web pages with Confluence links will receive new links promptly. All links will remain accessible in Data Center until December.
Information Technology is migrating its Service Hub suite of applications, provided by Atlassian, to the cloud. Confluence documents and Service Hub support will begin migration this summer. See the Service Hub cloud migration page for more details.
