In the summer of 2018, the first phase of implementing Salesforce (our new, campus-wide constituent relationship management system) went live. Known as ConnectUNI, this project began with UNI Admissions and Continuing & Distance Education staff using Salesforce to manage their interactions with prospective students, and the Graduate College using a custom Salesforce graduate application review portal (GARP). We want to thank those campus users that took the time to participate in the events system selection process.  As a result of a multi step process for selecting the events registration software, UNI has chosen to implement the blackthorn events system. UNI signed an agreement with Blackthorn in late December, and initial implementation discussions with the vendor are under way.  We will roll out the functionality in phases, with the initial timeline of: January 1 - April 1: Implement for recruit

The vendor demonstration sessions have been scheduled for the Event Registration system.  They are: October 22, 2pm - 5pm, CBB 109 (John Deere Auditorium)  October 23, 9am - 12pm, SEC 220    October 24, 2pm - 5pm, CBB 109 (John Deere Auditorium)   I am hopeful that many of you will be able to make it to all three sessions, as each one will feature a different vendor and solution.  I will be developing an evaluation form for attendees to provide feedback following each session.
