Compensatory Time
Non temporary merit and non-exempt P&S employees will be paid overtime or earn compensatory time for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a work week.
Compensatory time can only be accrued up to 80 hours (160 for Public Safety Officers). Compensatory balances in excess of 80 hours will be paid as Comp Time Pay on the following month's paycheck.
Employees may request to have their compensatory time balance (or any part of it) paid out to them via the Sell Time Off task in UNI Works. Refer to the following Job Aid for more details.
