Credit Card Services

The University will now allow a University credit card (PCard or T&H) to be used if the supplier charges a credit card processing service fee. The University will allow fees of up to 3% or $150.00 total. All non-IT purchases less than $5,000 should be purchased via one of the two University card programs. The University issued cards should be your default payment method for these small dollar purchases. This change reflects the trends that are happening across the card industry. These fees will be the department’s responsibility.

Why are we asking you to make this change?

By using the one of the University cards as your first payment option, we can significantly reduce expenses incurred in facilitating payments to University vendors. Vendors will also benefit from receiving their payments faster and would not need to go through the supplier set up process in UNI Works.
