What is the PMT?
The Project Management Team (PMT) is a group of faculty and staff that coordinates and facilitates the overall AP process. The PMT solicited ideas through a pre-proposal process and, taking them as generative ideas, the will develop multiple scenarios for new alignment, collaboration, and advancement of our programs, department, and colleges. In May 2020, the Academic Positioning-Revised document was drafted. It provides information about the accelerated process of AP that will occur between May 2020 and November 2020.
The Academic Positioning Charge document was first drafted after the initial retreat in March 2019. The document continued to evolved after the next two retreats in April and June, and following consultations with Deans' Council, Faculty Leadership council, and Faculty Senate.
The Academic Positioning Charge document provides the foundations for AP purpose and goals, as well as the structures that are used to achieve the goals in a collaborative process.
